Only the first 50 parade entries will be accepted.

FLOAT REQUIREMENTS:
  1. LIGHTS, LIGHTS, LIGHTS, lots of lights!
  2. No Horses allowed due to liability reasons.
  3. All walkers must be lighted.
  4. Registration and contact with the Lights on Rice Parade Committee is required.
  5. Attendance at Tuesday, 11/22/2011 6:00 PM pre-parade stadium meeting by a float representative is MANDATORY. **updated info**
  6. Application and narrative must be submitted by November 30th, no exceptions.
  7. Unit must be checked-in and staged in stadium lot by 5:30pm.
WRITTEN NARRATIVE: recognition of float sponsor(s) and participants. Maximum narration time 30 seconds.

INDEMNIFICATION: "Lights on Rice" Parade participants understand and acknowledge that they are not covered under the County of Kauai's liability or property damage insurance policies. As a condition, precedent to my participation, I indemnify and hold the County of Kauai and the Lights on Rice Parade Committee harmless against any and all claims, liability, damage and expense which might incur in connection with or arising out of my participation in the parade including involved with or watching the parade, caused by me.
